NYC

A colorful city, with colorful characters...
USA cathedral...not quite the same as the European cathedrals, but still lovely ;)

Modern Monk

Two Walks of Life

A Day in the Life

Street Vendor

Not sure if they were trying to make a statement, or actually thinking people were going to give them money for weed, but they were interesting either way.

Letting the Sunshine In

Some Wedding Photos

I was in the wedding, and there was a professional photographer on hand, so photography was not my priority of the day, but here are a few from the days leading up to the wedding and a few the day of :D

The family...taken by some wonderful person, can't remember which one though ;)

Val and I, taken by my brother, the blossoming photographer ;)

Blondering- Las Islas Canarias

Volcanoes that formed the island. Inactive at the moment ;)

Restaurant by the volcanoes. There is hot lava not far from the surface which they use to cook all of the food naturally. This man poured water down a whole onto the lava to give us a demonstration of how hot it is.

Very old vines, over a hundred years old I believe. The roots are deep, the vines were planted under many feet of  hard volcanic rock to get to the fertile soil. The stone fence around it was built by hand, to protect the plants from the dry winds. However, there is nothing holding the stones together, to allow a little bit of air and moisture through without drying out the leaves.

Garden at Manrique's house. His house was built from a volcanic tunnel to avoid disrupting the environment.
